Tengo poco espacio en disco en la lap del trabajo y vendí mi iPod en Diciembre, entonces música no es lo que me sobra, y pues necesito estar oyendo música todo el día, si no mi déficit de atención se pone muy grave.

Mientras que por el año de 1993 lo que pegaba en la radio en México era mucho pop de producción casera, por allá en "los japones" sonaba ésta canción sobre Yokohama, una ciudad y un puerto muy importante en la historia de pueblo nipón, un lugar donde se tenía contacto con el exterior durante el Shogunato y donde hay muchos extranjeros.

Modo "super standards" para IE 8

La última vez que hablamos de IE8 estábamos comentando como había pasado el test Acid 2, aunque con una pequeña trampa, que era el modo de estándares. Checando el Blog de IE

In Dean’s recent Internet Explorer 8 and Acid2: A Milestone post, he highlighted our responsibility to deliver both interoperability (web pages working well across different browsers) and backwards compatibility (web pages working well across different versions of IE). We need to do both, so that IE8 continues to work with the billions of pages on the web today that already work in IE6 and IE7 but also makes the development of the next billion pages (in an interoperable way) much easier. Continuing Dean’s theme, I’d like to talk about some steps we are taking in IE8 to achieve these goals.


Ahora sabemos que no será uno, si no tres los modos de la próxima versión de Internet Explorer.

Habrá incluso un modo Super standards que los usuarios podrán elegir, con estos tres modos se pretende mantener la compatibilidad con las páginas actuales, las más viejas y las futuras.

Windows Vista es la mayor muestra que que el interes de Microsoft por mantener la compatibilidad lo más que se pueda no siempre les surte efecto.

I’ve been on the IE team for over a decade, and I’ve seen us apply the “Don’t Break the Web” rule in six different major versions of IE in different ways. In IE 6, we used the DOCTYPE switch to enable different “modes” of behavior to protect compatibility. When we released IE 6 in 2001, very few pages on the web were in “standards mode” (my team ran a report on the top 200 web sites at the time that reported less than 1%) – few people knew what a DOCTYPE was, and few tools generated them. We used the DOCTYPE switch in IE6 to change the box model to comply with the standards and enable developers to opt-in to the new behavior. We’d already seen so much content written to IE5.x’s non-standard interpretation of the CSS2 spec that we couldn’t change it without causing a slew of problems.
Ya hemos hablado de que muchas páginas que solo se ven bien o como el creador quiere en Internet explorers son producto del poco respeto que tienen por los estándares, pero el lider del desarrollo dice que ellos siguen la regla de "NO ROMPER LA WEB" y el problema es que muchas páginas dejarían de verse bien si el navegador siguiera todos los estándares.

Entonces tendremos un tercer modo, yo preferiría romper con el pasado y que las páginas modernas contaran con el atributo nuevo de IE y que se fueran actualizando y que las viejas quedaran en desus o usando versiones antiguas del software.

Las bolsas siguen cayendo


La cara de este hombre lo dice todo.

La crisis hipotecaria de los Estados Unidos aunada al estupido gasto de los ultimos siete años en guerras que no se pueden ganar nos tiene a todos conun panorama terrible.

El día de hoy las bolsas de este lado del mundo cayeron y las bolsas asiáticas están cayendo del mismo modo, el asunto es que ésta es una recesión que ya se veía venir, mientras que el estúpido George W. Bush seguía esperando que las cosas se resolvieran solos.

En los Estados Unidos esta semana se develaran algunas "soluciones" para los más afectados por la crisis, pero si Estados Unidos entra en recesión a todos nos lleva "entre las patas", aca en México algunas tiendas van a mantener los precios bajos hasta marzo, las expectativas de crecimiento ya se han tenido que revisar.



¿cómo recordara la historia estos 8 años de W. Bush?

El tipo es un inepto, alcohólico, maniaco, ignorante y con delirios de grandeza que llego en medio de un fraude y hundió a los Estados Unidos (y se aseguro de quitarle la posición dominante )
