Pues el linux en el desktop nunca llegó, peo Android si es de lo más usado, y parece que aún hay esperanzas para linux en la sala.

In SteamOS, we have achieved significant performance increases in graphics processing, and we’re now targeting audio performance and reductions in input latency at the operating system level. Game developers are already taking advantage of these gains as they target SteamOS for their new releases.

Tal vez no se llame steambox después de todo, y esas cuatro features para "el living", la verdad, a mi no me interesan, a lo mejor en una familia más grande.
Es que soy un #foreveralone y conozco pocos jugadores de PC tan diversos como yo, algunoz muy clavados le destinan cientos de horas a BF o a CoD, WoW, pero es uno sólo, yo dedico decenas a cientos de juegos, y hace mucho que jugaba con PAD, creo que desde 2003, mucha gente tiene ese asunto resuelto.

Yo no necesito, ni quiero una steambox, para linux,  por ahí tenemos hardware que podemos reciclar, es más, puede que esa se modifique para cumplir esa función de HTPC, pero, si anuncia Half-life 3, en serio, en serio que me harían feliz.

¿Qué le falta a tu tablet si ya tienes el cable para conectarla a un monitor de buen tamaño ( la puedes colocar comodamente) , el teclado, ya sea bluetooth o a través de un cable OTG?

Pues software para hacer lo que quieras, o lo que necesitas hacer.

Del software más común, pero menos demandante es el de ofimatica, google ya tenía drive y keep, pero han dado un muy fuerte golpe en la mesa al hacer que su aplicación "Quick Office" sea gratuita, y ya puestos, también "regalan" espacio en Drive.

Este sí, este y no otro es una verdadera amenaza para Microsoft y su emporio office.




Y también lo liberaron en iOS, así que apple ha hecho bien en regalar algunas apps con sus nuevos dispositivos.
